• Diatomaceous earth absorbs water quickly and can become fragile if over-saturated. Detergents may reduce its absorbency.
• Do not expose directly to sunlight or heat.
• Unless explicitly allowed, drying under direct sun, using a hair dryer, or placing it on a heater may cause cracking.
• Instead, air-dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
• Recommended drying frequency: once a week in summer, every 3 days in winter.
